It is estimated that between 80-90% of companion animals have periodontal disease.
Owners are frequently concerned about their animal’s bad breath (a common sign of dental disease). However, poor oral hygiene can lead and predispose animals to pathology in the mouth and also increases the risk of various infections including those affecting the heart!
Staff at the hospital will be able to provide you with advice on how to keep your pets teeth clean. We also have state of the art dental equipment and offer dental radiography, allowing us to perform dental examinations on your dog, cat or even rabbit.
